What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy how tutoring creates a space for learning that’s both collaborative and personal. It’s rewarding to see a student grasp a concept that once seemed difficult or intimidating and to be part of their journey in building confidence and mastery. Also, tutoring allows me to constantly learn and refine my own understanding, adapting explanations to different learning styles and finding new, creative ways to convey ideas. Watching students progress and knowing I helped make that difference is incredibly fulfilling.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My Master’s in Journalism has sharpened my English and communication skills, making it easier to break down complex ideas into simpler terms. Additionally, my Master’s in International Relations enriches my history and geography tutoring, allowing me to provide students with a global perspective and to connect historical events to modern-day contexts. With a Cambridge IGCSE certificate in English, sciences (biology, physics, and chemistry), and math, along with a Cambridge A Level certificate in history and English, I’m well-versed in a range of subjects .

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important things a tutor can do for a student are to build confidence, provide clarity, and encourage curiosity. Building confidence is essential because students often struggle more with self-doubt than with the material itself. By being encouraging and celebrating progress, a tutor can help students trust their abilities and take ownership of their learning. Providing clarity is equally important. A tutor should simplify complex concepts and tailor explanations to each student's learning style, making challenging material accessible and less intimidating.
