What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy helping students gain confidence in their learning at it's so rewarding to see them achieve their goal and understand a difficult concept. I also love tailoring my approach according to each students need and finding creative ways to explain it to them.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
As a young tutor, I feel I can connect with students more easily. Having been tutored myself throughout my life, I understand what strategies are most helpful and how to support someone effectively. I am patient and adaptable, adjusting my teaching style to match each studentβs learning pace and needs. Additionally, I have great availability, allowing me to be flexible with scheduling. I am also willing to put in extra effort outside of tutoring hours to ensure the student achieves their goals.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I believe patience is key. Its important for a tutor to recognize that every student learns differently, and our role is to explain concepts in multiple ways with positivity and encouragement. I also believe that providing more than just academic support is crucial and helping students build confidence and develop effective learning strategies is just as important as teaching the material itself.

About Shreya
I teach all kinds of things
I am passionate about teaching and helping students understand maths in a way that suits their learning style. Whether in a tutoring setting or other learning environments, I strive to make lessons engaging and accessible.
Beyond academics, I have experience teaching in different areas. I am passionate about dance and assist younger students before my own classes. I have also previously taught swimming to kids, which has helped me develop strong communication and adaptability skills.
I believe that every student learns differently, just as I do. As a hands-on learner myself, I try to explain concepts in multiple ways to ensure my students grasp them in a way that makes sense to them. My goal is to build confidence in their abilities and make learning an enjoyable experience!

He was able to quickly answer the toughest parts of solving each question. Was very attentive and responsive. He is a great kid and polite and puts efforts. He understands what he needs help with. Came to class well prepared with the help of Lisa. :)
Coa needs to be more confident with his answers! But that is all right. He understands how to solve the problem. What also needs inprovement is time too but with practice = more confidence. Initially, Coa couldn't space out his work and was subtracting the wrong numbers like her had the knowledge just didn't understand where to use the numbers he had gotten but that's all cleared up and just needs practice to ensure he is doing all the right steps in sequence.
