What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

When I tutor a student and teach them new methods, they contact me after their exams and say β€œthis technique has helped me solve the numerical easily, thank you so much missÒ€. Moments like these make me feel happy that my knowledge is helping others and I recollect how beautiful it is to be a student who has a right teacher to guide him/her. I genuinely enjoy teaching kids lessons and being open to listening their perspectives of the concepts taught.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

Good Listener and Attentive I believe as a tutor, it goes both ways to be a good listener. I should also be attentive and listen completely to my student when they speak. This way they will not hesitate to bring up their doubts towards me. If I do not pay attention to what the students wants from me, they will not confide in me. I wish to teach in an environment where the student feels comfortable to even ask the silliest doubt. I just do not want any student to feel their doubts are not worth to ask.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

Recognition and support Currently I am a business student and we have always been taught, it is important to appreciate your peers efforts and recognise them for the work they put in. It helps them to stay motivated and have high morale. I think every student works hard in various spheres and every student needs to provided with support and encouragement. Recognising a student for their hard work and efforts is a way of telling them that I, as a tutor, am paying attention to how their performance is and I care about them.
