What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Being a tutor has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. I’ve always loved being around kids, and over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to work closely with them, not only through tutoring but also in child care. There’s something really special about watching a child grasp a new concept or skill for the first time—the excitement in their eyes is priceless. Teaching gives me the opportunity to make a positive impact on their learning and development, and every day feels like I’m contributing to their growth.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I believe my key strengths are patience, discipline, and my ability to connect with kids. I feel that patience is essential when working with children, as each child learns at their own pace, and it’s important to give them the time they need to grasp new concepts without feeling rushed or pressured. This allows them to build confidence in their abilities.
In addition, I’m disciplined, which helps me stay organized and structured in my teaching approach. I have acquired these from my father as he is a teacher.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a teacher can do for a student is to inspire confidence and a love for learning. When a teacher believes in their students and helps them recognize their own potential, it transforms how they approach education and challenges. Beyond imparting knowledge, a teacher’s role is to create an environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and grow.
Additionally, a great teacher helps students develop critical thinking skills and resilience, teaching them how to learn, rather than just what to learn.
