What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I never thought that I would love to be a tutor until Year 10 when I had a chance to assist one of my friends to achieve his first A in mathematics. I would say that I feel the most happy when I successfully explain a concept to the student. Besides, I also enjoying seeing my students’ happy faces when finishing hard questions. I love to supporter who will always be there for my students, and to see their developments in their learning journey. I believe that studying mathematics is extremely interesting as long as we have an inspiring and attractive learning methods.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a patient and empathetic tutor who has 4 years experience. I attended to special class for all rounder in my high school before moving to Sydney, in which I had a chance to quickly adapt to NSW syllabus and ranked 1st in Maths from grade 10 to grade 12. My priority is always to simplify difficult concepts when explaining. Sometimes I use different ways of explanation that involve real-world examples so that students will understand how the definitions work and how to apply these properties when doing exercises. I believe that the most efficient way to study is by inspiration and motivation instead of by forcing and regulating. For this reason, I always develop an individualized study strategy for each student to boost their eagerness for learning Maths. On top of that, I can develop a study strategy that is suitable for each student’s habits, studying ability, and personalities. With an attractive learning method, I believe that mathematics will no longer be such a hard subject to conquer.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things I can do for a student is to be flexible, patient and to have a friendly, trustworthy image. This helps to build a relationship so that the student will be able to tell me their real hardships in the process of learning, so that I can find suitable studying methods to the students’ characteristics, making it easier and less time-consuming for them. I believe that this not only provides the student the enjoyment when conquering the subject but also boosts up the learning process’s efficiency.
