What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

As an experienced primary school teacher (ages 6-9) I have enjoyed the rewarding nature of children being able to understand and apply what I am teaching, not just in the classroom but to real life contexts also. It is also enjoyable watching children grow in confidence in particular subjects and voicing their appreciation and love for a topic area that they maybe previously disliked.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

High success rate in achieving the expected academic progress/attainment within children. Strong understanding of how children learn through the relevant concrete, visual, pictorial, written or abstract methods. Patience, flexibility and adaptability if certain content needs revising, redelivering or restructuring to meet the wellbeing and academic needs of each child.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Build confidence in children to adopt a 'I can' attitude as opposed to an 'I can't' attitude. Grow positive mindsets and aid resilience. Inspire children to understand the importance of working hard in school and developing in their education to give them the best possible chance to succeed in life.
