What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing students understand difficult concepts once it is broken into smaller components. I also enjoy seeing students enjoy studying more once they find out how to study effectively.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I can break complex topics into smaller segments that are easier to understand. I have achieved an ATAR of 99 and done hundreds of hours of past papers, and know how to study effectively in a way that helps you get the best possible marks with the least amount of time. At the beginning of high school, I was scoring well below average in my cohort, but after changing my study methods and finding my motivation, I was able to get top marks in my grade. Thus, I can relate to the struggles and challenges students face, for example poor time management, shyness, and can help them overcome them.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
To be able to build a personal relationship with the student where the student is comfortable to ask questions as to what they don't understand, and be able to answer them clearly and patiently. Thus the student can understand the concept. A tutor should also be able to prescribe the student effective study strategies and homework the student can do to improve, since the tutor will not always be there.
