My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Deep subject knowledge
Patience, kindness
Experience
Some grounding in educational theory
A support network I can ask for help if I encounter difficult situations ( a lot of my family are teachers!)
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Confidence.
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to build their confidence in their ability to learn and achieve.
By guiding them through mastery experiences a tutor can help their students gain a level of confidence that will allow them to persist in tackling and overcoming difficulties they encounter in their independent learning that would previously have seemed insurmountable.
A tutor can also identify and address gaps in their students learning, helping them build a foundation that will allow them to achieve their goals.
