What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the fulfilment that I get after knowing that with each lesson I provide my student is being further enriched with knowledge of the subject and an in-depth understanding of what they are learning compared to how and what they learn in school. The student's success is what matters to me the most, as my main objective is to help the student succeed in their endeavours and reinforce their weaknesses.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths as a tutor are underpinned by my ability to break down concepts that may seem initially complex into smaller parts which are easier to understand so that the student can systematically understand the smaller parts which make up the larger concept. I am also very patient and can easily adjust my teaching pace according to each student's own learning pace to ensure that none of my students are falling behind on anything. Additionally, having previous experience in educational resource creation, so I can structure my lessons tailored to a student's academic schedule.

The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to provide personalised teaching and support, build confidence and foster a passion for the subject that the student is learning. Since every student has their unique strengths and weaknesses, it is vital for tutors to build upon those and allow the student to master them so that they are benefitted. Through guiding their students, a tutor should encourage them to become independent learners by adapting the tutor's learning methods and utilising it for themselves in any situation.
