What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the fact that tutoring gives both the student and the tutor a new perspective on a respective subject. For example, when I tutored college prep math, I saw math differently from how I would typically understand it, and instead perceived it similarly to my student in an effort to understand them. Seeing things differently really opens my eyes and allows me to be open-minded toward different learning styles, as I learn more about myself as well.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strength as a tutor is my ability to be open-minded. I try to understand subjects from the student's point of view, which not only allows me to get a better grasp on the subject, but also build a strong and good relationship with my student.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Learn with the student. I am striving to be a better person each day, with it, comes humility. I believe that if you come to the student appearing human and able to make mistakes (as I am not a robot), the student will understand that I am not intimidating nor a machine, but rather human just like they are. Building a strong and humane connection is the most important thing as a tutor in my opinion.
