What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love tutoring other individuals because I've recognised, as a past student myself, that it can be difficult to understand certain topics and aspects of a certain subject at school, especially if the pace of content is quite fast. I think tutoring provides that avenue for individuals to have dedicated learning time in consolidating their understanding of a subject, and that to me, is the enjoyment of tutoring. Ultimately, seeing how each student grows as an individual and do very well are the main things I enjoy about tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my strengths is creating with that student a learning environment that is slightly more informal as ultimately, it becomes easier to learn rather than a formal lesson. I also have various school notes and tips that I have garnered throughout my schooling career and have ultimately that passion to see other students I've helped succeed.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
There are numerous things a tutor should be able to do. I think providing these students with lessons that pinpoint certain issues and flaws, acknowledging student welfare (such as stress), and ultimately showing (or delivering), that same powerful desire for their students to do well, are only a few things a tutor should provide for a student. Ultimately, a tutor, for me, isn't a replacement of a teacher, but rather an extension of school. Hence, a tutor should rather focus time on specifically what the student wants.
