What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is witnessing the progress of my students. Concepts that once seemed difficult or unattainable become manageable with time and practice, and this improvement is especially evident during tests, whether in school or during tutoring sessions.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor lie in my ability to tailor lessons to each student's learning style and weaknesses. Additionally, my patience allows me to take the time needed to explain challenging concepts thoroughly, helping my students gain a better understanding of the material.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most crucial role of a tutor is to instill hope and confidence in a student's ability to advance in their learning. School can be particularly overwhelming, especially during VCE, with constant comparisons to peers in SACs and exams. From my own experience as a student, I found that the most effective tutors provided hope for improvement through a structured timeline, regular progress assessments, and dedicated time to address areas of weakness and confusion.
