What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

All my life, I have really enjoyed learning, especially within subjects that interest me. I strongly believe that a good teacher can change a person's life, as I probably wouldn't be where I am today without having had different great teachers guide me through the years. With that being said, I love to pass on my passion for mathematics and physics to younger students, regardless of their age. I will always be filled with joy and pride when I see someone finally understand a concept they've been struggling with for some time. I hope to inspire others through my tutoring.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

One strength I posses is that I am a very patient person and always try to find new ways to approach a problem or explain a concept. I completely understand that every student has a unique learning style, and it is my job to find what works best for them. Another strength of mine is that I'm quite social, and find it easy to strike up conversations. I have worked quite a lot with kids aged 13-17 from different countries which has given me valuable experience. Lastly, I am confident with my competence within mathematics, which of course is very important.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As previously mentioned, I think a tutor, similarly to a teacher, can have a great impact on a young mind. One outcome from tutoring could be that the student falls in love with the subject, and maybe becomes inspired to continue to develop their skills and knowledge at a higher educational level. Another equally valid outcome could be that the student continues to face challenges with the subject, but perhaps not to the same extent as before. The crucial aspect is that the tutor helps bolster the student's confidence, which is something they will carry with them throughout their life.
