What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
My passion towards teaching is cultivated through a combination of family factors, prior study and work experience, and the alignment between teaching and my core values (lifelong learning and relationship building). The most important factor that gets me into teaching profession is that I have always enjoyed sharing what I have learnt with others regardless of what knowledge I shared and whom I shared my knowledge with. Seeing that epiphany moment on other people's face gives me the most rewarding feeling in the world.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Through my own mathematical journey and hearing others' stories, I have found that many students studying mathematics do not understanding what they are doing even though they can solve the problem given and ace the test. They are thrown rough formula by teachers and asked to follow the process. Therefore I no only want my students
My passion towards mathematics is also my strength, and I hope I can rub this enthusiasm off on my students and help them understand that mathematics is not just about doing tons of exercise (sometimes we call it learning by rote) and see the beauty of mathematics.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor can do tons of things for a student. A tutor can help his/her students learn and also help cultivate student's interests in a particular subject. A tutor can help students debrief what a student went through at school and provide them with different kinds of suggestions based on his/her experiences. When a student struggles to understand a topic after school, tutors come to rescue and help them catch up.
