What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy being able to develop strong relationships with younger people by paying close attention to their unique needs and abilities, helping them refine their unique strengths and grow confidence as an individual. I also find fulfillment in being able to help ease academic and emotional stress young people may often encounter, and enjoy simply being a friend who they can rely on for guidance and support.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I believe some of my strengths as a tutor can include how I'm willing to commit and invest a great amount of time and energy in order to see my student improve and become the best version of themselves. As a recent HSC graduate, I also know how stressful school can be and how easy it is to doubt your abilities in difficult moments. Through living these experiences, I believe I have the capacity to support students who are struggling in a similar manner, and be able to accommodate to their individualistic needs to see them develop into a well rounded person.
Most important things I can do for a student π
I think the most important thing for a tutor is to always have faith in the student despite witnessing constant failures and lack of improvement. I think it's really important to be able to empathise and simply be with the student during these difficult moments, whilst letting them know they have the potential to improve and succeed over any obstacles through a strong work ethic and resilience.
