I think my empathy - it's really important to tutoring not only that you understand the content but why someone else does not understand it. If you can do that you can really help someone.Most important things I can do for a student π
Make them feel safe/comfortable - if they're anxious about learning that could really hinder their future education. This sounds really clichΓ© but I think it's important to teach someone to learn/enjoy learning.
