What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy sharing my passion for Economics and Maths. Being able to get another person to understand, have an interesting conversation and an appreciation for the subject is immensely enjoyable to myself. Even during my down time I love having a conversation about economics or maths so being able to do it as a job while being paid would be a very exciting opportunity.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe am able to emphatically think through problems like a student would, I also like to consider multiple approaches if possible. Part of this comes from my informal experience of answering university course forums or helping out friends/students in person informally, it allows me to better understand how other people think through the problem and to change how I explain concepts/problems based on this.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
While obviously a tutor is paid to help a student improve their grades or help them study, a tutor that is able to give a student an actual interest in the subject matter is one of the best things a tutor can do. Giving a student an interest in the subject will make them improve their grades even by thereself as they will enjoy studying and seek out more advanced content for the subject and also give them a potential sense of direction in their future interests.Tutoring students in 👦 👧

Hi my name is Henri, I am currently studying a Bachelor of Economics/Bachelor of Science (Advanced Maths) (Honours) at UNSW. I am passionate in both Economics/Maths and greatly enjoy helping students/individuals work through problems as well. I believe these subjects require an active learning approach rather than a rote learning approach, as they both are logical and require intuition + understanding of concepts rather than memorisation. Outside of studies, I enjoy snowboarding, talking about/researching economics and the occasional game.
