What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy building a relationship with my clients and watching their confidence grow as they experience success and arrive at that ‘aha’ moment. I enjoy the challenge of getting to know their learning style and helping them realise how they learn best. I gain real satisfaction from children utilising their learned skills to arrive at solutions with independence.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I am highly organised and observative. I work to gain great insights into the personality of my students in order to create interesting and enjoyable ways for them to learn. I pride myself in identifying an individuals learning style i.e. visual, kinaesthetic etc. and using this to promote confidence and independence within my students. I am communicative and collaborative with parents and students to make the experience as satisfying as possible for all.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is listen to them. Listen to their learning needs and acknowledge what they are challenged by. In addition, as a tutor, it is crucial to provide opportunities for the student to experience success on their attempts in order to build confidence and encourage them to keep trying. It is of utmost importance to be organised and plan accordingly to suit the student’s needs in order to make the most of every session!
