Miyah was able to complete her division tables for all worksheets regardless of her initial hesitation. She received an amazing score and is evidently more than capable of completing both multiplication and division questions despite her being intimidated to start.

Miyah had some difficulty completing numbers 6-9 but was able to complete them with a small nudge in the right direction. She now understands that the answer to these questions is the multiple of that number.

Miyah completed great work in exercise 3 and 4. Sometimes needed clarification with wording of questions but nothing major as evident in her results.

Miyah had some confusion when answering questions about area and perimeter as she sometimes got them confused however she understands both concepts and was able to formulate the correct answer when set on the correct path.

Claudia by the end of the session was able to understand the concept of place value better. Through practice Claudia found the formula to completing the questions and was able to find the correct answers.

Claudia sometimes gives up before shes started and guesses random numbers rather that working through the question. This is happening when a question looks intimidating when I know that she is capable of working through it! I think with a confidence boost and a little more practice Claudia will be moving through maths with ease.

In this session Miyah has completed the final exercise in the year three mathematics syllabus leading us to begin the extension work and more challenging exercises. She has received an overall grade of 94% in year 3 work so it is with no doubt that she will be able to work through year 3 extension work and year 4 level exercises.

Miyah had little to no difficulty with exercise 5 and received a fantastic result. She also was able to quickly understand the new concept I explained to her and had minor mistakes as we began the exercise
