The most important thing as a tutor is to put yourself in the student's shoes and make sure they are learning and taking in something useful after every session. This makes the most out of their time and also helps to make them more confident in their studies, which also builds trust between the student and tutor which is key to making them…
In my opinion, the most important responsibility of a tutor is not to teach specific knowledge or skills but to incite the confidence and curiosity for knowledge in students. Ultimately, a successful tutor is the one who can help students out of their bottlenecks, assists them in studying, and finally equips them with the skills and mindsets for…
I believe that making every session meaningful, productive but entertaining is key to learning. A tutor should make sure that the student is well-engaged in the session but still focussing on their weaknesses and strengths. A tutor should make a personalized learning experience for every student and build a relationship of trust with the student.…
I think the most important role of the tutor is to analyse and reflect on a student's learning and problem-solving approach methods, in order to provide meaningful adjustments for greater comfort and confidence going forward. In other words, the identification of barriers to learning is the most crucial point of a tutor's action, as it is the…
To me, the most important thing a tutor can do is to foster a supportive and positive learning environment. This is because it is important to create a safe and encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improvements. It is also important for the tutor to tailor the teaching approach to each individual…
The most important thing is trust that both tutor and student should have on each other.
An ease of asking questions and making mistakes is another very important thing. Its okay to make mistakes but if your student is afraid of you , they would never ask questions and will be afraid to make mistakes so the tutor will never be able to…
A tutor can be a guiding light for students. Each student has their own way of absorbing the information that they are taught. This might not always be available to students in a large classroom setting. A good tutor recognizes the strengths and weaknesses of the students and guides them accordingly. I spent most of my adult life abroad as a…
I think that a tutor should not limit themselves to just subject knowledge. They should research more on effective teaching methods and strategies that might help them connect to their students more.
They should develop practices that make a student's life easier and should understand the individual needs of the students.
Often tutors have to…
I think being patient with someone and allowing them to grow in their own way and learn and figure things out is something very important for a tutor to understand. I will challenge students to do questions out of their comfort zone as I believe that is the best way to grow, but only after I know that they understand the basics have a strong…
A tutor can make a student curious and this curiosity makes the student knowledgable.Learning should not be a hard task.It should be a fun experience and a pathway to self reflection. I am a good educator and i like to teach people because i love sharing my…
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to put in time. They need to act as if it's not just a job which pays. Prepping lessons early, helping with questions outside of tutoring time, marking tests. All of these examples show a great tutor. - I put a lot of care into my work.
- I love seeing others thrive through my help.
- I…

The most important thing for a tutor is to provide a fun learning environment for the student and empower them to learn. A tutor should be able to motivate the students to organise, formulate study goals and most importantly self learn and self improve. I am a very results-oriented person and one of my key strengths as a tutor is being able to…
The most important thing in teaching any subject is showing the big picture along with the nitty-gritty. I hope that my student can see the beauty in the sometimes boring schoolwork, and see the deep underlying connection and unity of it all. However, sometimes desperate times happen, and then we must drop the profound thoughts and do what needs…

Making a student learn and fully comprehend a subject matter while not belittling them in the process, but rather motivating them and getting them to enjoy learning about that subject. I will consistently encourage all my students to always try, and practise, and try again, until they master whatever they were first struggling with. Their dreams become my dreams for them, so I will never let my students give up on reaching their goals. Improvements do not happen overnight, but whenever they do happen, no matter how small, I…
There are several things can be done being a Tutor,
1. Understanding and stimulating the students capabilities to grasp the things
2. Improve confidence to creative problem solving
3. Introducing the world of imagination, which helps to correlate the concepts with the surrounding owing to better understanding. Throughout my academic journey, I…
The tutoring is going tremendously well. The system you use, the high level of communication and dependability shown by Nirvan, and the teaching style is working exceptional well. I'm very impressed with your service, and its meeting my (high) expectations. I fully appreciate that this is not a quick fix, and it takes time. We're committed to continuing this throughout Term 3 and 4 at least. The support and patience Nirvan is showing is really helping Emily, and he is supportive and has the capacity to challenge her at the right pace. I've asked her why some things that we've tried to work through before have made more sense when explained by Nirvan. She said that he works at her pace and stays with something until she understands it. Many thanks. Your back-office communications is also highly supportive of parents and whilst you're delivering on what you've clearly explained, I find your level of communication extremely professional, supportive and consistent.
The tutoring seems to be going well. I've asked Niamh and she is also very comfortable and happy with Ben. First maths test since her tutoring with Ben started and she received a mark of 90 so I think we're on the right track.
We are very happy with Kieren. Quinn thinks it's fun and Ronan, although he's very shy, is comfortable with Kieren.
