What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love being able to be there for the children during their schooling life because I know the difference and the positive impact my tutors made in my life during my schooling life when I needed them. They made a difference for me and I love to also make a difference in other student's lives to help them the way I was helped. I also love seeing improvements in my student's studies and marks and their increase in confidence after being able to understand the content they have been struggling with.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I can use many different ways to explain one concept which ensures that my students don't just rote learn content but also understand it to make it easier for them to know what they're really studying. I cater it to their style of understanding so that they receive all the information confidently. I also encourage my students to always ask questions to clarify anything they need to be explained/taught again and also ask them questions in return to make sure they really understand the question so that after every session, they are taking in useful material.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

The most important thing as a tutor is to put yourself in the student's shoes and make sure they are learning and taking in something useful after every session. This makes the most out of their time and also helps to make them more confident in their studies, which also builds trust between the student and tutor which is key to making them believe in themselves and that the tutor is there to guide them through every content they need extra confidence and understanding on. A tutor should also be a mentor and help their students through everything.
