What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have tutored previously in the United States and loved working with students to improve their knowledge in an area of study. I have experienced up to calculus 3 in maths and am fluent in English. I’m a student at UTS and am in my second year of studying civil engineering. I enjoy working with the students and deepening my own understanding of the subject we’re working on together.

As a tutor I think my patience and understanding is what makes me fit for the job. I’m an outgoing person and strive to help students in all subjects. I love to teach and enjoy exploring other learning styles to help students.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think that understanding why a student is struggling is the most important thing a tutor can do. A student may be struggling with the subject itself or may be struggling with a specific concept. Additionally there may be external factors creating conflicts for the student. Being able to listen and relate has helped me become a great teacher in math and English.
