What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring brings me great joy as it allows me to have a positive impact on students' lives. Witnessing their growth and progress as they grasp challenging concepts or acquire new skills is exceptionally fulfilling. I relish the task of finding innovative ways to convey complex ideas in a manner that is both simplistic and engaging for each student. Growing up I have always been academically strong, however my sister struggled with figuring out the best way for her to learn, tutoring her as an elder sister all these years and see her grow thereafter adds a sense of purpose to this job.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strength lies in my ability to create a supportive space where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and thinking independently in their learning journey. I prioritize tailoring my teaching approach to accommodate the unique needs and learning styles of each student, ensuring they receive individualized attention. Breaking down complex concepts and analyzing their struggle to create a goal we will work towards acts as another strength. I also help the child in becoming an independent learner for the long run by teaching them the art of meta-learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe tutor's key responsibilities are to provide guidance in a non-judgmental way, foster a healthy and positive learning environment through engagement and motivation, and nurture a deep understanding of the subject matter through effective teaching strategies, encouraging critical thinking, and practical analogies and application. The most important goal of tutor should be their aim to make the child a independent learner and thinker for the long run by not only clearing their on-going concepts but developing the child's attitude towards effective learning.
