Might try +/- game for warm up array buildings we didnt get to speed =/- for confidence
most basic ops algorithms ok and he is checking, discussed estimation.

Still needs work on mental maths esp sub over a 10. 2 digit x could use some work. place value with odd materials caught hime out. might do more just to familiarise.

Loves adding the cards and has some good strategies. Might introduce a few extra bits like making 20. He has a good understanding of the structure of the 100s chart and can explain why he identifies unknown numbers. speed addition was good, some issues crossing the 10 with larger numbers such as 36+7, he's adding the 6 and 7 ok but missing the carry and coming up with 33.
The arrays didn't go very well, he doesn't really understand what an array is at the moment. Might try the buildings. Also try tables board for building skip counting patterns.
Speed add and sub getting faster but still needs work crossing tens. Did much better with the number line this time. knows tables quite well and using strategies ...
Speed add and sub getting faster but still needs work crossing tens. Did much better with the number line this time. knows tables quite well and using strategies effectively.
really not confident with division but is able to use reverse times as support. With naplan coming up will focus on using algorithms for addition, sub with carry and times to two digits as this will be hes preferred technique.
