What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

My tutoring experience comes mostly from being a Teacher Aide in primary schools. I really enjoy being able to work through various concepts with children and customize the work to their specific needs. I find it extremely rewarding to see them improve and gain confidence throughout the learning process. It is great to see them learn how to complete the activities by themselves with confidence and ease.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have a lot of experience working with children of various ages and believe that I am capable of making valuable connections with the children I tutor. I believe this is important as it makes for a more positive and engaging learning environment. I am skilled at both math and English I scored a 80 in English and 87 in Math during the HSC. These are skills that I have continued to develop in my professional life as a Teacher aide and through Tertiary studies (Bachelor of Primary Education). I'm a friendly and approachable person who displays good time management and problem-solving skills.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is listen. You have to be able to engage with the student and listen and respond to their needs and worries. With this you can adjust the lessons to fit their needs and preferences, this makes the learning experience so much more meaningful and rewarding for both student and teacher.
