What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love helping students and people, without anything in return. It's a passion that continues to inspire everything I do; perhaps it stemmed from my own student journey of self-doubt, but I realise that I have a natural ability to reach individuals my age, older and younger. For students, I can help them academically, but also as a mentor on the sidelines, as I found that when someone believes in you unconditionally, even when these individuals do not believe in themselves; this can inspire greatness. This is why I began teaching and never looked back...this is why I love what we can do :)
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have an uncanny ability to be patient; and I believe this one of a tutor's most basic, however a very crucial strength. I pride myself in my academic knowledge, communication skills, ability to expand and think creatively, logically, critically or analytically. However more than any of this I have a passion :) and natural ability to be a guide, a mentor, a teacher and friend to these students; I can sympathise with them while pushing them on to achieve their best and this is why I know, that my strengths, will help me to be an efficient tutor.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Tutors must recognise their unique abilities to nurture their student's character and academics to allow them to go the extra mile. The most important thing a tutor can do for their students is constantly improve themselves, their mindsets, abilities, knowledge and character. The only way we can improve others and impart our knowledge of the world; is to first improve ourselves. I believe this world becomes a better place when the youth can change it, myself included and I believe that tutors have the ability to spark this ripple effect with a little patience, guidance, wisdom and direction :)
