What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I really do like engaging with students and helping them achieve their academic goals. I am someone who values education very much and someone who believes that every single student can learn and succeed. From my private tutoring experience, I loved seeing the excitement in a student's eyes when they understand a concept they've been struggling with. I enjoy tutoring so much because it shows that an extra effort from the students can really push the boundaries they have set for themselves and prove themselves wrong when they are doubting themselves.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As someone who has volunteered in multiple charities and services varying from working with underprivileged gifted children to intellectually disabled children, I am very patient and experienced with how to approach certain situations. I am also someone who grew up in a community where tuitions were very common, hence I have experienced myself what characteristics a virtuous tutor would inherit. As a law student, I am very responsible, organized and recognize the importance of schooling. I am a great at balancing my tasks. Most importantly, I care about well-being and progress.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that a tutor should be able to build relationships with a student where the students are provided with an environment where they are heard and observed. I think this allows tutors to strategize methods in helping students progress, learn and succeed. This must be done with patience, constant assessment of student's progress, and flexibility of a student's learning manner. If this is all done with care for the student, I believe, there is no reason for the student to succeed the best they can.
