What do I enjoy most about tutoring? ๐
I enjoy the rewarding aspect most about tutoring. I love being able to pass my knowledge and strength down to others and the satisfaction the student feels when they finally understand something they have been struggling with.
My Strengths as Tutor ๐ช
As a tutor, I believe my strengths are being able to explain the problem/question from a different perspective to how the teacher may explain it or the student may view it. I am also very patient which I believe is important in tutoring as you don't want to rush the student and make them feel as though they aren't capable.
Most important things I can do for a student ๐
One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is listen to them. This is the only way to know what they don't understand and where they need help. Positive feedback is also essential in tutoring. If the student feels like they aren't making any progress and that they will never understand the problem, then they may give up all together or grow a strong hatred for the subject. However, my acknowledging minor achievements, this will encourage them to persist with the problem and keep trying.
