What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

As a tutor I enjoy seeing the improvements in my students' results knowing that it has directly been a product of my labour. Additionally, I felt like school was a journey to navigate through and in retrospect it truly was a fun experience and it brings me joy in reliving those experiences through the lens of another individual through tutoring.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my greatest strength as a tutor is my passion for subjects that I teach, which are reflected onto my students, making the subjects more enjoyable for them leading to better results. In addition, I am a very flexible and adaptable tutor, enabling me to explain concepts in different ways in accordance to the needs of my student. I also achieved a Band 6 or high Band 5 (English) in all my subjects, reflecting that my knowledge is adequate to tutor somebody else.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing for a tutor is to understand their student. All students have different strengths and weaknesses, and it is the responsibility of the tutor to understand their student as an individual in order to tutor in a way that is the most effective for a student to improve. For example, one of my students in the past learnt best from me talking him through concepts, whereas another student found it more effective to learn by me guiding him through worked examples.
