During my time as a high school student, my tutors always endeavoured to personalise my learning experience as much as possible in order for me to achieve my subject-specific goals; it was this personal customisation of my learning and active progression of my goals that made me enjoy coming to tutoring.My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My long-lasting and continuing role as a mentor for young people throughout the community has given me invaluable insight into the unique experiences of many individuals and how this ultimately reflects how they learn and what academic success means to them. Through this experience I always aim to work holistically on the individual student, analysing how I can facilitate individual success for each person. Likewise, I consider myself a very effective and empathetic communicator and I pride myself on being reliable to those I mentor, all of which complement my passion for learning.Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
An excellent tutor is one that recognises the whole student and works to understand and facilitate what academic success means for that individual. Likewise, a tutor should always work to teach lifelong problem-solving and learning skills while giving students the tools and encouragement to use these skills to excel in their learning.
