What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring is essential as it helps build personal communication skills, and being responsible for a student's academic and personal development is a pursuit that I find myself enjoying. Witnessing students excel and overcome setbacks as their tutor brings a level of personal achievement and joy to me knowing that I made a positive difference in their life journey.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a student pursuing mathematics at a university level and completing the highest level of mathematics during high school, I believe I have strong subject knowledge to teach the content. In addition to this, my approachable teaching methods and enthusiasm for helping students find intrinsic motivation for their academic goals is a strength I am proud of.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing that a tutor can do for a student is help them set intrinsic and self-motivated goals within their academic journey. I believe this is more important than effective teaching methods of content because no matter how excellent someone's teaching abilities may be, a student unwilling or unmotivated to learn will always face struggles.
