What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Through my experience tutoring music, the thing I find most enjoyable and rewarding is the β€˜aha’ moment when a difficult idea finally gets across to the student. I also think that tutoring is a great opportunity to build your own understanding of a topic, as you gain a much deeper knowledge of something when you can explain it to someone else.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

I think my greatest strengths as a tutor is the ability to break down a complicated topic into easier parts, and effectively communicate this to my students to benefit their own understanding. As a student myself, I know how to study and learn content efficiently, which I would be able to teach to my students.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

The most important thing a tutor can do is to act as a mentor for their student and guide them through their schooling career. From an academic standpoint, it is important for a tutor to provide a more personal and direct way of teaching than would be achievable in a school environment.
