What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love to see students develop and grow as a person. I aspire to be a tutor that can inspire students to enjoy learning and develop curiosity. As a tutor, I enjoy being seen as a friend to talk to and as a mentor who can guide them.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I love to simplify concepts. When I was studying, the teachers tend to cover a very large topic with lots of details. However, it was difficult to grasp them since there are a lot of notes. As a tutor, I like to simplify things, focus only on the main concepts and give them tips and tricks to excel in the subject. I love to organize the topics. As a tutor, I want students to feel like they know what they are learning and what the lessons are for. I also want students to know how they can apply what they have learnt in real life.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Being with them side by side along the journey. This includes trying to understand their perspective, their ability to comprehend the subject and their ability to solve the problems. As a tutor, it is more important to teach the students on how to learn instead of teaching them school materials. I believe that teaching students skills to learn is more important than being able to grasp school materials as this skill can be used in life.
