What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The aspect of tutoring I most enjoy is simply helping people. I love when I can help students understand something they have been struggling with.
I have also always loved learning, I find joy in trying to relay this love to students but finding new and interesting ways to help them. I believe that my love for learning can help motivate students to learn and improve.
I also enjoy the mentoring aspect of tutoring, being able to take on a leadership role and help students navigate difficult situations.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Not only am I patient and equipt with good communication skills but because of my experience with tutoring I work to cater my teaching to the learning style of the student. This might involves drawing pictures or going back to the basics and simplyfying concpets depending on the indivual.
Additonally, I enjoy not only teaching the student but getting to know them as well to make them feel as comfortable to come to me with any issue. Doing this also helps me to motivate the student by finding different and interesting ways of teaching and encoruaging the student.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Children are capable of success in anything they dedicate themselves to as long as they have the right help and I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is provide this help.
Motivating and encouraging the student develops their confidence which heightens their ability to learn and improve.
Listening to the student is another important thing a tutor can do for a student. As mentioned before I believe it is crucial to cater my tutoring to the individual student and their learning style, I do this by listening to the student and adapting my teaching style.
