What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping students understand concepts that they may struggle with by simplifying complicated topics, and utilizing my patience to explain them to them as many times as possible until they thoroughly understand the topic. I also enjoy motivating students and building their confidence to approach difficult questions and concepts, which they can hopefully transfer to their schooling.

As a tutor I am patient and will ensure the student will get the most out of every lesson. I have excellent time management skills and aim to cover topics at the pace that the student is comfortable with by ensuring flexibility in classes. I can communicate and explain concepts in different ways, and will persevere until the student understands the topic. Furthermore, I thrive in ensuring students are constantly revising and practicing to retain information as a staple part of their learning.

It is the most important for a tutor to motivate and guide students through their learning. Building confidence to achieve set milestones is crucial to doing any problem-solving question. I wish to instill a strong work ethic in the students I teach so they can feel motivated throughout their academic career.
