What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy tutoring because it provides me with the opportunity to help and inspire others to achieve their best. I love seeing a child's face light up with such enthusiasm and eagerness when they finally understand a certain concept they have been struggling with. I love how tutoring allows others to have additional educational support. I am a strong advocate for equality in high quality education. I know that education is a powerful tool and every child has the right to recieve the best education possible. I want to be able to make a positive difference in someone's life.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe I am a optimistic and empathetic person. As a tutor, I strongly believe this is important as tutoring involves not only understanding an individual's strengths and weakness in learning as well their learning style; but also understanding their emotional, physical and mental state which can be influenced by life events. I am able to commmunicate appropriately with any individual in order to understand their perspective. This way I am able to build a strong connection with others and it enables them to feel like they are in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe it is important for tutors to build students' confidence and boost their self-esteem. It is important to acknowledge that a student is doing well when they truly are; to encourage them to be resilient when it gets tough. This way students are able to conquer any challenge without fear which enables them to learn more effectively. This will also help them in the future, as these are life skills that enable them to persevere through the dilemmas in life. Tutoring is not only about a student's education but developing a positive mindset and a strong set of qualities for the real world.
