What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I adore the people I am able to meet and interact with; not just teachers and parents but the students themselves. In my experience, many children just want to be encouraged and supported in the little ways, and the joy that radiates off them when they are satisfied with their work is immeasurable. From watching the development of a more confident, loving child to seeing their passions and interest grow, I just enjoy seeing potentials being met fully and wholly.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I grew up teaching, and have been teaching for the past eight years of my life. In addition to knowledge I have gathered from this experience, I also have gained a genuine love for being able to observe the growth in my students over a long time. Not only do I consider myself to be patient with children (as I am trained to handle both children as young as 3 years old as well as those with special needs), I am able to adapt to and understand a student based off of their extracurricular interests and passions, and use those materials to my advantage in their subject of study.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Personally, I've always felt that tutors and teachers are incredibly significant factors that directly affect a child's interest in the subject. Bringing a love and genuine passion and interest to a field of study can bring so much inspiration to the schooling life and entirely transform an experience of "studying" to "learning", and I believe that this inherent joy is something that can alter the perspective of a child to absorbing and their enthusiasm for growing without shame or worry of being "wrong". Encouragement is key and teachers must uphold their position to uphold this resource.
