It’s a learning process both for the student as well as the tutor. I would like to answer this question from the student’s point of view. It’s not important for the tutor to know each and everything but what is important is that if the student is unable to understand a topic and the tutor is also not aware of it, it’s his/her responsibility to give that student the assurance that he/she will try to solve it the next time they meet.
