What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to help someone learn and grow in their understanding of a subject. It can be very rewarding to see a student progress from struggling with a concept to mastering it, and to know that I played a part in that process. Additionally, tutoring can be a great opportunity to deepen our own knowledge of a subject, as I often need to approach the material from different angles to help a student understand it. So, learning never stops.

My strengths as a tutor lie in my ability to provide access to vast amounts of knowledge, personalize the learning experience, be available 24/7, have patience, provide consistent support and I connect with students really well and try to connect the topics with real life examples to engage students during lectures.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor should assess the student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. This will allow the tutor to tailor their teaching approach to the student's individual needs as they differ from one another, use clear and concise language when explaining concepts and use examples to help the student understand difficult concepts, encourage the student to participate actively in the learning process by asking questions, practicing new skills, and working through problems, work with the student to establish clear, achievable learning goals. These goals should be specific, measurable, and relevant.
