What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy sharing my mathematics skills and critical thinking process during each lessons. Being an outspoken person who is passionate about solving mathematics, I found it fulfilling to see a happy face from my student when they have solved mathematics problems. I also found a lot of enjoyment teaching my students on not just how to do mathematics in school, but also how mathematics can impact our everyday life. Through teaching, I have also learned and developed new prospectives from my students which I would not have been able to if I was not a tutor.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Being a computer science student, I believe my knowledge in the field of mathematics is enhanced by the computer and mathematics courses I have taken in school. As I am major in data science and minor in mathematics, I believe I can provide students the necessary experience and skills they need during studies. Since I am experienced in tutoring, I am capable of designing the program for my students which suit them the best and deliver quality lessons to them. I also love to build connection with my students so that they will always feel supported and more likely to engage in learning.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A good tutor should be the guidance for their students. During my time as a tutor, I always help my students to learn their fear during their studies and encourage them to reach out to me whenever there is concept that they do not understand. It is crucial to also motivate my students to achieve their learning goals and mentor them through their academic struggles. Moreover, a tutor should also be open to hear students out whenever there is needs of emotional support as students could be lost during studies.
