What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to impart my knowledge from previous work to students and find it a fulfilling process to explain in a condensed manner that makes the most sense. This occurs not in regard to teaching or a set curriculum, but in the student's own way of learning.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that my strength as a tutor is patience. I am not only able to work through difficulties slowly and provide more detail to more simple steps of learning; I also possess the ability to convert my method of explanation if the current method is not functional for the student at hand.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Personally, in my high school experience, I was placed in the top Mathematics Methods class and therefore felt uncomfortable asking questions in such a competitive environment. Thus, my tutoring experience provided me with a safe space to propose any difficulties that I was experiencing in class, which is what I believe is the most important thing a tutor can do. This provision of a lack of judgement and complete autonomy of learning allows for maximum academic growth through a tailored experience for each individual student.
