What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I perceive tutoring as a challenge for me to overcome to help the students achieve their goals and ambitions. I feel it is a rewarding experience as I get to form a connection with the students and understand their thought processes. Furthermore, I gain satisfaction from seeing the impact of my tutoring reflect on their academic performance.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am flexible and honest as I am upfront about any topics I do not know about and will do my best to learn more about that topic and continue to help the student. I am patient and understanding as I realize it takes time for a student to understand new concepts that I am already familiar with and I ensure to take it slow and help them fully understand the concept. I am a good listener and make sure to listen to the students and understand their misconceptions and errors.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe a tutor should be confident in his/her abilities and express enthusiasm in teaching the student. A tutor should be honest and upfront about the student's misconceptions and errors and offer advice in a calm and helpful tone. A tutor should be able to share some of his/her own experiences to deepen the connection with the student. A tutor should be observant and have a good understanding of the student's thought process in order to strategize an effective method of teaching that would benefit the student.
