What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I really enjoy teaching/ sharing new information with people. I am constantly learning through university and self-reading and I always find myself eager to share what I have learned with friends and family. (I also dabble in correcting my friends on their misquotes or facts) This translates well to tutoring as I will be teaching kids/ youth new topics that I am familiar with.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am currently a 3rd-year finance student and I am applying for graduate entry into medicine next year - so my passion is learning and constant knowledge attainment. I am an extrovert which will make it easy for students to get along with me. I like to believe I am very patient, which will translate well into tutoring In terms of subjects: I love biology/ chem and have studied it at university through many electives. Maths is my strong point due to a finance degree. Additionally, English is one of my strongest subjects as I regularly score in the high 90%'s in university essays.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important things a tutor can do for a student are to: 1 - place a focus on topics the student is struggling with 2 - teach these topics in a way that is different from what they are being taught in class. From a basic principles foundation and adding complexity as the student understands the topic more.
