What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Tutoring can be such a rewarding experience for both the tutor and the student and so I enjoy most that my support can assist a student to reach their full potential and go on to even greater things.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my strengths would be my communication skills and adaptability/relatability with my students. I have honed my communication skills over the years and therefore I would be able to teach my students in an engaging and understanding manner. As a recently graduated student, I understand that every person has a different learning style and I would be able to cater to each student’s needs and offer them the necessary support and tools.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe a tutor can offer a student so much more that just knowledge; the encouragement of a tutor can unlock a student’s potential and lead them towards consistent success. Tutoring sessions can make a student feel heard and understood which is so important in a student’s journey through self discovery in their schooling years.

Jafar once again attempted most of his homework. He can recognise why his answer would have been incorrect and can find the correct answer through critical thinking. He is developing great skills regarding fraction work.
Jafar seemed to be distracted in this lesson as well, when I ask for an answer or response from him, it often takes quite a bit of redirecting before he can provide me with one, even if it is an easy question.

Jafar attempted all his homework which was great to see, he particularly wrote a great story showcasing his advanced dialogue skills. He continues to show a great ability to work with graphs eg. bar graph, line graph and answer questions.
With certain tasks, Jafar usually sits there for a moment. Its great that he takes the time to think but I wonder if he is overloaded with thoughts that he can't express an idea or if he is thinking about the question at all.
Jafar has a great understanding of dialogue use and its correct punctuation.

The lesson was cut short as Jafar was feeling ill and his tiredness affected his concentration.
Jafar is showing a greater understanding of structure (PEEL), when forming a persuasive response.

In this lesson, Jafar was quite distracted and it seems he did not want to do the work. He also left majority of his homework incomplete, if this continues, it will negatively affect his learning.
