Lara did very well in identifying her median, mean, upper and lower fences and IQR for all box plot questions. She was a bit unsure about where to place her 'landmarks' on the plots but once explained that she could be approximate as long as she indicated her values, she was much more confident. Lara was able to solve any simultaneous equations involving simple elimination.
Lara struggled with the simultaneous equation questions that involved substitution or more complex elimination with initial multiplication involved. She was also lacking confidence with worded problems and I had to walk her through most of them.

Lara has done really well developing her skills with the elimination method and can work from simple ones without any guidance. For questions that require extra manipulations before eliminating she still needs some help with those initial steps. Lara was able to determine the equations from a worded problem with very little support except for occasionally needing to determine if it was a multiplication or addition.
Lara seems to have taken preference for the elimination method which means that she is not practicing the substitution method. This has led to her not being as confident with the questions but she did begin to handle them better throughout the session.

Lara is able to substitute coordinate values into linear equations with minimal support. She has also gotten more confident with identifying her key features from linear equations (y=mx+c).
Lara will need to spend a bit more time practicing her graphing to make sure that she is correctly plotting the different points. Particularly she needs to make sure she is plotting equations with the correct gradient (ie. positive or negative).
Lara was much more confident with the substitution method and was able to rearrange one equation to isolate an unknown then sub into the other equation.
Lara was much more confident with the substitution method and was able to rearrange one equation to isolate an unknown then sub into the other equation.
Lara would tend to forget the final step of subbing the solved variable into the other equation. Lara was less confident with the elimination method, likely due to the negative numbers commonly involved.
