What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

One on one tutoring was very impactful for my own high school experience. I understand the significance of focused attention on one student, as all individuals are at different levels within different areas and require unique teaching styles that are best suited to them. No student is the same and tutoring allows them to tackle topics they are least confident in, assisting them to build the confidence needed in school.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe I offer a sisterly dynamic as a tutor. I am friendly, outgoing and attentive. People feel respected by me while also holding me to a high standard, which is crucial when being a tutor, as students need to feel heard and supported.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe one of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is provide comfort and support to students that struggle or need help. I believe many students lack the assertiveness within classrooms to seek help and ask questions, which leads me to believe that creating a comfortable and non-judgemental tutoring environment will assist in allowing students to feel free and happy to seek assistance in areas they need help with.
