What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy the most about tutoring, is seeing the progress made by my students, both academically, and in self-confidence. This is rewarding for me because it is usually the result of an individual analysis performed on each student, and subsequent tutoring sessions having this analysis in mind. Apart from that, it is satisfying to see the students recognize what they need to improve on, and what they are capable of doing. This really impacts their lives because it gives them the confidence to further advance in their academic life.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I always try to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each student and adapt the tutoring session accordingly. I value the progress made by each student and make them notice it, even if it is a small one. It gives the students confidence to keep on working and it guides them toward the desired outcomes. I make students recognize the value of maths and physics around us, by giving them real-world examples.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important this that a tutor can do for a student, is to keep in mind that tutoring is not the same as giving a lecture. That needs to be reflected in the adaptation of the tutoring session to the individual student. This can be done by lowering or raising the level if needed, speeding up or slowing down, and providing precise feedback to the student so that he knows what he needs to work on.
