What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
I enjoy the process of explaining concepts to students that they struggle to understand.
I also enjoy getting new perspectives from the students and discovering other ways to look at the same concept.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I am good at breaking complex concepts/processes down into digestible "sub-tasks" so that students can build their knowledge step by step.
Most important things I can do for a student π
One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to provide them with "methods" of learning instead of explain the concepts as they are. Because with methods, students can apply the methods elsewhere.
Another thing is to teach students how to "become" a tutor as well. Because this is the way I learn difficult subjects. I imagine myself as a student and a teacher at the same time. So I ask questions to myself as a student and answer those questions as a tutor.
