What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
What I enjoy most about tutoring is the satisfaction of not only helping a student achieve their best but also cultivating a passion for their studies.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
A particular strength for me as a tutor is the ability to clearly articulate concepts from multiple viewpoints. This can help a student further understand content, as well as its application in a variety of contexts. Another strength would be the ability to foster a sense of purpose in learning. By finding examples of real-world applications, a student can often feel more passionate about their work and thus more engaged in their learning.
Most important things I can do for a student π
One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is to create a space in which the student is comfortable and unafraid to make mistakes. This is extremely important in not only allowing the student to learn to the best of their ability, but to be able to question their own logic, problem-solve, and actively engage with content in their time with a tutor. It is also important for a tutor to adapt their teaching methodologies to individual students, such as to provide a unique and tailored learning experience for each student such that they can achieve their goals.
