What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I personally enjoy articulating my communication skills to others whilst developing tricks here and there to improve it. I also value clarity after learning from my own experiences it's integral to the students learning.
I also love students who persevere to understand specific concepts because it is almost like I'm also developing my skills of perseverance. In essence, I'm like training students to develop virtues in life which they'll need
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have stored up excellent notes which help summaries the notes in what I call "dummying it down" version of the textbook.
It's not just my academic notes, but my ability to endure with students who have not 100% grasped the contents. Whilst some tutors, can find it frustrating, I endure after my own experience as a student misunderstanding content. Therefore, I relate to my students and that helps me progress
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
For a tutor to be an eloquent individual immersed with a wealth of knowledge it useless, if they do not frequently follow up with their students. It needs "regular maintenance" in car analogy. Tutoring is a marathon not a sprint. Tutors must hope to retain the students’ knowledge rather than sophisticatedly teach content without regular revision or quizze
